The Oakes family built our Lodge in 1896. We are on five acres and boast 550 feet of captivating shoreline frontage on First Roach Pond, a pristine lake nearly eight miles long. We are surrounded by hundreds of thousands of acres of north Maine woods, providing all of your vacation and recreational needs. The lodge is uniquely furnished in a semi-Victorian antique-Maine outdoor decor. We have comfortable guest rooms to accommodate singles, couples, families or groups.

In addition to our waterfront lodging we also provide a continental breakfast and family style dining for our guests. Great food and views of the water and mountains, along with reasonable prices, are reasons our customers consider this waterfront restaurant one of the best in the Moosehead Lake region.
